ATWELL ARCADE FREMANTLE
Brick and Mortar Restoration commenced work on the Atwell Arcade Fremantle April 2015. The works on the Atwell Arcade have been quite extensive.
Brick and Mortar Restoration completed paint removal to the Arcade. We have also reinstated all of the cement corbelling and other render works to the facade. Brick and Mortar Restoration completed crack repairs throughout the building and restoration work to the gable end ornate infill panel, painting with a special paint designed especially for heritage buildings. Our tuckpointing team stepped in at the end of our contract and transformed this building.
The building looks quite striking inside. The plaster from the lathe and plaster ceilings has been removed exposing the original timber lathes. Brick and Mortar Restoration worked alongside the owner, heritage officer and council with this project.
